Terms of Service
The rules of using this website. Engagement-level terms live in the contract we sign with you.
These terms govern your use of https://metricstalking.com ("the site"). They cover the public website only — engagement-level terms (statements of work, IP assignment, etc.) live in the contract you sign with us before a project starts.
1. Accepting these terms
By using the site you agree to these terms. If you don't, please don't use the site. We may update them — material changes will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date.
2. Use of the site
You can do all the normal things — read, share, link, quote with attribution. You can't:
- Scrape the site at a volume that affects other users.
- Use any automated system that bypasses cookie consent or rate limits.
- Attempt to break into our infrastructure, probe for vulnerabilities without our prior written consent, or test against our security systems.
- Misrepresent yourself in any form submission (e.g. impersonating another person or company).
3. Intellectual property
Site content (writing, design, code visible in the page source) is © Metrics Talking. The design system and most public-facing copy are licensed for your personal reading. Case studies remain the IP of the relevant client and us jointly — please don't republish without asking.
Open-source code we publish elsewhere (GitHub repositories) is licensed under the terms in each repository. The license in the repo wins over anything on this page.
4. Linking
Link to us freely. Don't frame the site, don't present it as your own, don't use our brand assets in a misleading way.
5. Third-party links
We sometimes link to other sites or tools. We don't control what they do or how they handle your data — their terms apply when you visit them.
6. No warranty
The site is provided "as is". We work hard to keep it accurate and online but we can't guarantee uninterrupted availability or absolute accuracy. If you spot something wrong, email us and we'll fix it.
7. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Metrics Talking is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this website. Engagement-level liability is set out in the contract that governs your project.
8. Governing law
These site terms are governed by the laws of Turkey for visitors from Turkey, and the laws of England and Wales for everyone else, without prejudice to your mandatory consumer rights.
